As the Education Officer, he advises unit instructors on curricula, directs instructor evaluations, and oversees staff in-service training, approves unit tests and course syllabi. As the Recruiting Officer, he is responsible for development, management, and execution of unit recruiting efforts, logistics, and funding. In this role, Sergeant Bush is responsible for the training and development of Air Force and Space Force cadets to prepare them to become officers in their respective branches.
